Supernova

This section was created to bridge the gap between the training centres and the  professional festival circuits. These first works that do not have easy access to distribution spaces can find their place in Supernova. The Festival wants to use this section so that emerging filmmakers learn to present, defend and accompany their films and, to do so, the Festival will ensure that among the public there are always more experienced programmers, producers and filmmakers who can question the proposals and enrich the colloquiums.

This piece is the portrait of a friendship built through contemplation, noticing the details my eyes would run over, trying to ensure that what the camera was recording was as true as possible to what I could see and bringing the camera as close to it as I could. At that moment, I found a way of telling what I wanted to tell, showing an almost oneiric environment linked to the main character (her voice, her actions, her silences…) with me being present in the piece myself, but through her eyes and gestures. Eventually, this characterises this piece as celebratory and intimate.
