Summer 2016. Somewhere in the French Drôme Provençale, a mysterious plague strikes the villages: swarms of white butterflies have invaded the region. As the night approaches, the people lock themselves at their homes, trapped by the seemingly unstoppable vermin. As the big swarm comes nearer, Lou discovers both the strange insects and her feelings for her friend Sam. By the end of the season, the moths will have devastated the century-old box trees in their entirety, leaving a ruined landscape behind them.

In Córdoba, far away from Argentina’s capital city, the end of the dictatorship promises a spring that will not last long. ‘La Delpi’ is the only survivor from a group of friends, transvestites and transformists, who began to die of AIDS in the late ’80s. In a Catholic and conservative city, the Kalas Group made their weapons and trenches out of improvised dresses and playbacks.
