In Curtocircuíto we want to pay homage to American filmmaker Harry Dean Staton, recently deceased, with the screening of Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction on on Sunday, October 1st at 5 p.m.

The documentary, directed by Sophie Huber premiered in Venice in 2012 and presents one of the most powerful and enigmatic characters in  American filmmaking, with a fimography that includes cult films, such as Monte Hellman's Cockfighter, Wim Wenders' París, Texas, and his films directed by David Lynch, to whom he was a sort of emblematic actor, and who directed him in films such as The straight story, Twin Peaks: fire walk with me, Inland Empire or Wild at heart.

Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction portraits with delicateness an 88-year-old Stanton through friends as the likes of David Lynch, Wim Wenders, Sam Shepard or Debbie Harry and the songs sing by himself in front of the cameras.

It will be our tribute to an actor that has inhabited our hearts througout our lives.
